Each Troop is automatically assigned an initiative slot for the duration of the battle and an individual unit performs their actions during their turn as opposed to players being able to manoeuvre all their units before it switches over to the other side. A players individual army can only be a certain size and so players are able to customise them with various troops and create their own personal strategies and tactics when going up against AI whilst completing the games quest/story arc content or fighting against other players and trying to raise your rank and position on the leaderboard.Ĭombat takes place in a private instanced map between the player and whichever opponent they are facing, the map is divided up into a hex based grid, offering more tactical manoeuvres and possibilities in battle.
